Why Stafford
Stafford provides students with an arts-infused education. The teachers use art in all subjects to help students better understand concepts. Students don't need to have a special talent for art. Teachers attend Arts Impact training and many have special skills in artistic subjects such as dance, music, and pottery. Stafford uses a literacy instruction model known as a Daily 5 / Cafe model. This framework allows time for teachers to work with students one on one or in small groups. Additionally, Stafford is a Technology Pilot School, which means fourth- and fifth-grade classes use tablets.
