P.E. at Stafford has changed in a big way this school year thanks to the installation of an interactive technology called "The Lü". With the help of the Lü, students are engaging in social emotional activities, testing their knowledge in academic subject areas, and just having a good time – all while being physically active.

Spanning 19 feet long and 12 feet tall, the Lü projection system is equipped with motion detection, multicolor LED lighting, a sound system, microphone, and internal computer. The Lü pilot project was made possible by the 2022 voter-approved technology levy.

The Lü allows Stafford PE teacher Matt Wood to engage with students in ways that weren’t possible before. Wood can access a wide variety of games and activities through the Lü library or create and use his own content to fit individual student and class needs. The Lü has many applications and Stafford is already exploring using the Lü for school assemblies, performances and staff trainings.
